OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service was held Friday afternoon for Mrs. Anna B. Wasoba, 72, from her home. Rev. F. J. Mittler, Clarence, conducted the service with Anton Vanicek speaking for the Z.C.B.J. Bohemian lodge. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Fred Lasack, Mrs. Carl Hulke, Mrs. Fred Sacora and Mrs. Keith Russell, Clarence, with Mrs. George Shimerda, accompanist. Flowers were in charge of Glenace and Patricia Guyer. Those serving as pallbearers were John Burda, F. B. Nowachek, Frank Koranda, Charles Slouha, George Slouha and Delbert Burda. Interment was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Wasoba died Wednesday morning in Mercy hospital at Anamosa from internal injuries which she sustained in a fall at her home from the porch Monday afternoon.

As Anna Lipchavsky, she was born Nov. 4, 1873, in the rural community near Cedar Rapids, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lipchavsky. She was united in marriage to Frank B. Wasoba, Oxford Junction, April 19, 1892, and they made their home here. Her husband preceded her in death in 1912. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Vlasta Guyer, Sabula, and Mrs. Lillian Bees, Oxford Junction, and four grandchildren.

Relatives attending the funeral from out of town were Mrs. Floyd Guyer, Glenace, Patricia and Marvin Guyer, Sabula; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Ritchie, Dubuque; Mrs. Frances Bracha and Miss Anna Kuirk, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. E. R. Barker, DeWitt; Mr. and Mrs. L. Wasoba, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Pete Jensen, Lost Nation, and Mrs. Ida Wasoba, Monmouth.
