WYOMING - Byron A. Woodworth, son of Byron A. and Emily Woodard Woodworth, was born at Fenner, Madison county, N.Y., April 8, 1854. When an infant his mother moved to Chatam, Ohio, as the father and husband died shortly before Byron's birth. When he was 10 years old, he came to Wyoming, which community was his home thereafter with the exception of one year, 1876, spent in Green county.

June 23, 1881 he was married to Martha Livingstone, Center Junction, and the home established on a farm between Wyoming and Center Junction. After 48 years on this farm, they retired to Wyoming in 1929. After the death of Mrs. Woodworth in 1935, he made his home with his children, the last three years spent in the home of his son, James, near Marion, where he died Wednesday morning, Feb. 6, at the age of 91 years.

He was a life long member of the Methodist church.

He is survived by two sons and one daughter: Francis Woodworth and Mrs. Ida Mallicoat, both of Center Junction, and James Woodworth, Marion. Also surviving are six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Preceding him in death was a son, Louis, who died in infancy; a sister, Louise; a half-brother, James Eddy, and a half-sister, Mate Eddy.
