John Dickson aged 63, who for the past ten months has made his home with his son, J. E. Dickson, died Saturday morning and was taken to Anamosa for burial, his son J. E. Dickson and wife accompanying the remains. The funeral was held Monday morning. Mr. Dickson was a sufferer from creeping paralysis and had been ill for some time. He leaves surviving him his widow, three sons and a daughter.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Jan. 3, 1852 and died Sept. 16, 1916. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery.
