Edna Hinrichs, 21, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hinrichs, Anamosa, died Wednesday evening, Aug. 8 at her home in Wayne township. She had been ill since 1943, and seriously ill with a heart ailment for the last three weeks.

Funeral service was held Saturday, Aug. 11, from the Monticello funeral home and later from Wayne township. She graduated from the Monticello high school in 1942 and taught for two years in the rural schools.

Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hinrichs, three brothers, S 1/C, Raymond, Seattle, Wash.; Wilbur and Paul; a sister, Dorothy, at home; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hinrichs, Anamosa, Mrs. Albert Heiken, Monticello, and her great grandmother, Mrs. Marie Heiken, Castle Grove.
