OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service was held Tuesday, for Mrs. B. J. Hansen, 69, one o'clock from the late home in Oxford Junction, and at two o'clock from the Zion Lutheran church at Wyoming of which she had long been a member. The Rev. Herbert Graening conducted the services and Mrs. Graening and Mrs. Ralph Orth sang, accompanied by Mrs. Lafayette Bahnsen.

Floral offerings in charge of five granddaughters, Wilma Schrader and June Beadle, Anamosa; Marlene Ingwersen, Carol Jean Ingwersen and Virginia Hansen. Those serving as pallbearers were nephews, Ed Petersen, Lawrence Ahrendsen, August Ahrendsen, Louis Rehmke, August Petersen and Martin Petersen. Interment was in the Mayflower cemetery at Oxford Junction.

Mrs. Hansen was born Hattie Brodersen in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, May 4, 1876. She came to America when she was 17 years old, and was united in marriage to Henry Ingwersen, who died in July 1906. In September, 1908, she married B. J. Hansen, and they farmed three miles north of Oxford Junction until 1928, when they retired to the present home here.

She is survived by her husband, and eight children, four sons, August Hansen, Oxford Junction; and Pfc. Ervin Hansen of Spokane, Wash.; Louis Ingwersen and Harro Ingwersen, Oxford Junction; four daughters, Mrs. Tom Cunningham, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. W. F. Schrader, Anamosa; Mrs. Louis Ledvina and Miss Anne Hansen, Oxford Junction, a sister, Mrs. Thomas Eichhorn, 22 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Also the last Mrs. Hansen had heard, her mother, two sisters and a brother were living in Germany. One son, Henry Hansen, and a daughter, Anna Ingwersen, preceeded her in death.

Mrs. Hansen had been in failing health for the last six months, and died at her home Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
