Jim McElmeel, three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald McElmeel, Cascade, died at Dubuque Monday night of injuries suffered when he was run over by a truck driven by Fred Tobin.

Child's five-year-old brother, Tom, was the only witness to the accident. He told authorities that Jim had been playing on the running board of the truck when Tobin got in the truck on the other side and drove away. Jim fell off and the truck ran over him.
