Funeral service for Herman Kerr, 73, former resident of Anamosa, was held Friday at Hackensack, Minn.

He was born in Jones county March 16, 1871, and was the son of Porter and Mary Brown Kerr.

He is survived by a half sister, Mrs. Ray Beam, Independence, Mo.; and two nieces, Mrs. C. M. Rowe, Beaman; and Mrs. J. C. Porter, Anamosa.
