OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service for Chauncy Robinson, 67, was held Wednesday afternoon at the Oxford Mills church. Rev. Wilbur Altheide officiated, and hymns were sung by Miss Grace George, Wyoming, and Lyle Jeffrey. Pallbearers were Frank Kulhavy, Austin Conwell, Forest McClure, Kenneth Jeffrey, Ambrose Jeffrey and D. J. Meade. Interment was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Chauncy Robinson died at his home in Oxford Mills Jan. 1., following a long illness. He was born July 23, 1877, at Viola, Ia., the son of Ervin and Liddy Robinson. He was united in marriage to Saphona J. Prosser April 1, 1903. Two children, Myles and Mrs. Harley Kalous were born to the union. Two years of their married life were spent in Cascade, and the remaining 39 in Oxford Mills. He served as a carpenter on the Milwaukee railroad for 22 years, retiring seven years ago.

Surviving are his wife and two children, four grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Elsie McKinstry, Anamosa; Mrs. Hazel Thomas, Monticello; Mrs. Cora Boots, North Dakota; and Mrs. Lillian Shaffer, Missouri, and one brother, Charles Robinson, Oxford Mills.
