Jane Ryan Belknap, 70, was buried last Friday at Antioch cemetery near Anamosa, following funeral service held at the Smykil funeral home.

She was born at Anamosa, March 8, 1874, and died at Davenport last Tuesday. She was the third child of Lyman and Melissa Cunningham Ryan.

From Anamosa she moved to Cedar Rapids, and later to Davenport, where she had lived for a number of years. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are her sons, Maynard and Dallas, both in the service; daughters, Iva, Mrs. Harold Drew, Cedar Rapids; Lebretta, Mrs. Edwin Baldwin, Cedar Rapids; sisters, Mrs. Carrie Byerly and Daisy, Mrs. Ed Ruhl, both of Anamosa; brother, Charles, Anamosa. There are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
