OXFORD JUNCTION--Ramon Shedek, 80, Oxford Junction, died Thursday night, Jan. 23, at University hospital, Iowa City, where he had been a patient for two weeks following a fall when he fractured his arm and hip.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 25, at 1:30 p.m., at the Hayden Funeral home, Oxford Junction. Rev. Ramon Booth conducted the service. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Pallbearers included Raymond Bisinger, Lee Romer, Frank Vozenilek, Frank Vochuska, Charles Sheldon and Louis Lasack.

He was born in 1884, son of John and Mary Shedek, Oxford Junction. He had lived his entire life in the Oxford Junction vicinity. He lived a number of years with his brother, John, and for the last three years had lived at the Hults Rest home.

Survivors include three brothers, Frank, Kenosha, Wisc.; Otto, Cedar Rapids; and John, Oxford Junction.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
