CENTER JCT. - Funeral service was held for Peter Petersen at 10 a.m. at the home in Center Junction and at 11 a.m. Friday at the Sandhill church, with Rev. P. T. Gutknecht officiating. Burial was made in the Sandhill cemetery.

Peter Petersen, 63, died at his home early Wednesday morning, Jan. 22, after a lingering illness of over a year.

He was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, Dec. 8, 1877, the son of John and Mary Petersen.

At the age of 35 he came to America and settled in Jones county, where he has since lived.

In 1904 he was married to Anna Cassen, and for two years they made their home on a farm north of Onslow and later in Center Junction.

He is survived by his wife and four children, Mary, John, Lorenz, and Chris and two granddaughters, all of Center Junction; his aged mother, two brothers and a sister in Germany; two brothers, Lorenz, Olin and Chris, Lisbon.
