Funeral service of Mrs. Ollie Elmira Hopkins, 74, who died last Sunday at her home in Anamosa was held Tuesday at the Methodist church. Rev. J. K. Delahooke had charge of the service and was assisted by Rev. H. D. Green, Maquoketa.

She was born March 10, 1866, near Anamosa, the daughter of Joseph Hopkins and Elizabeth Bowlby.

She had lived her entire life in Jones county and for the last few years has lived in Anamosa.

She was married to A. W. Hopkins, March 13, 1884. Mr. Hopkins died 16 years ago. Mrs. Hopkins was a life-long member of the Methodist church and took part in the Ladies' aid, the Social circle, and the Women's club. She was a past worthy matron of the Eastern Star.

Besides her parents, all but one of ten children, Mrs. James McMurrin, Anamosa, preceded her in death.

Casket bearers were Dr. B. F. Erb, Lee Sanner, Robert LaChapelle, James Stivers, John Bodenhoffer and Ray Lawrence. Burial took place at Riverside cemetery, Anamosa.

Loder Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
