Funeral rites for Mrs. S. B. Osborne, 77, Anamosa, were held Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Methodist church with Rev. J. K. Delahooke officiating. Mrs. Osborne died last Tuesday. Burial took place at West Liberty Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. Osborne was born Aug. 24, 1864, at West Liberty, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hunter. She lived to womanhood at West Liberty and was married there Dec. 15, 1884.

Couple moved to Davenport, then farmed at West Liberty, and also at Iowa City. For the last 20 years, Mrs. Osborne has lived at Anamosa. She was president of the Methodist Ladies' aid at West Liberty and president of King's Daughters.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. J. L. Cole, Greeley, Colo.; four children, Mrs. Edna Ellison, Mount Vernon; Mrs. Nancy Nichols, Iowa City; Mrs. E. W. Corwin, Anamosa; and Mrs. Vern Spencer, West Branch. Ione, died eight years ago and a son died in infancy.
