WYOMING--Funeral service for George Norton, 74, who died Thursday after a long illness at his home in Wyoming was held Sunday afternoon in the Wyoming Presbyterian church with the Rev. Mr. Rogers, pastor of the Lost Nation Presbyterian church, in charge.
Deceased was born Aug. 12, 1870, on the Norton farm, south of Wyoming, where he lived until he moved to Wyoming about three years ago. He was married to Miss Allie Green, Wyoming, Dec. 22, 1910.
He was a member of the Presbyterian church and at one time belonged to the Modern Woodmen lodge.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Harvey Norton, Clinton; one granddaughter, Candace Kay Norton; one brother, John Norton, Gordonsville, Va.; and one sister, Mrs. Milo Phillips, Wyoming.
