WYOMING--George Luckstead, 83, Wyoming, died Wednesday morning, April 22, at John McDonald hospital, Monticello.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 25, at 1:30 p.m., at Zion American Lutheran church, Wyoming. Rev. Robert R. Ahrens conducted the service. Interment was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Pallbearers included Raymond Holtz, Peter Sievers, Martin Petersen, Frank Fritz, A. C. Catlett and Art Holub.

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lacock were vocalists. Mrs. Lafayette Bahnsen was organist.

He was born Dec. 22, 1880, son of Frederick and Wilhelmin Holtz Luckstead, on a farm southeast of Wyoming. He attended county school and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

He was married to Minnie Ehlers, Sept. 23, 1914. Couple farmed southeast of Wyoming until 1939 when they moved to the family home in Wyoming.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Freddie, Wyoming; two sisters, Mrs. Matilda Ehlers, Monticello, and Lena, Mrs. Gus Von Sprecken, Wyoming; three grandchildren, one great grandson and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; two brothers and one sister.
