Mrs. Earl Grim, 61, Anamosa, died Thursday, May 28, at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 1, at 1:30 p.m., at the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa. Rev. J. Ellis Webb conducted the service. Burial was in Forest cemetery.

Pallbearers included Alva Wink, Dale LaBarge, Lloyd Bieber, Julius Westphal, Don Downing and Kenneth Rands.

She was born Mayme Irene Hayden, March 15, 1903, daughter of J. D. Hayden, sr., and Nina Hart Hayden, near Anamosa. She was married Nov. 2, 1921, to Earl Grim. She lived her married life in the Anamosa area.

Survivors include her husband Earl, one sister, Mrs. W. Lee Finn, east Buffalo, one brother Joe D. Hayden, Viola, nine nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
