Funeral service for Mrs. William B. Ditch, 72, who died Tuesday morning after a brief illness, was held Thursday afternoon at the Smykil Home for funerals, Rev. H. L. Buesing of the Lutheran church officiating. Burial was at Shiloh cemetery, west of Marion.

She was born in Linn county April 30, 1872. Couple was married March 25, 1896, near Cedar Rapids, and operated a farm until 25 years ago when they retired and settled in Anamosa.

Surviving are her husband, six children, Francis, Bertram; Harold, Muscatine; Ralph, Anamosa; Mrs. Dorothy Peet, Martelle; Mrs. Helen Schaefer and Mrs. Leona Koppoenhaver, Cedar Rapids; a sister, Mrs. J. F. Connor, Newhall; two brothers, Charles Wilson, Ryan, and M. H. Wilson, Cedar Rapids; and 14 grandchildren.
