WYOMING--Emmet A. Bearing, 78, died Friday, Nov. 15 at Scotch Grove.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 18, at the Hayden Funeral home, Wyoming. Rev. Kenneth Perinchief, of the Methodist church, conducted the service. Burial was in South Mineral cemetery, Onslow.

He was born Sept. 12, 1885, son of Augusta and Isabelle Farriger Bearinger, near Monticello. He was married Dec. 9, 1916, to Ella Huffman at Center Junction. He spent two years in California and the remainder of his life was lived in Jones county.

Survivors include a brother, Tom, Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and two brothers.
