WYOMING--Mrs. James Huffman, 63, Wyoming, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, April 21, at her farm home.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 24, at 1:30 p.m. at the Wyoming Methodist church. Rev. Kenneth Perinchief conducted the service. Interment was in the Wyoming cemetery.
Pallbearers included Routh Mallicoat, Duane Mallicoat, Richard Eichhorn, John Eichhorn, Lyle Tompkins and Otto Blume.
Donald Somerville was soloist. Mrs. Dennis Wilcox was organist.
She was born Bessie Dena Hurlbert, May 27, 1900, daughter of William and Mae Wyrick Hurlbert, Monmouth. She was married Aug. 28, 1919, to James Huffman. Couple farmed east of Wyoming during their married life.
She was a member of the Wyoming Methodist church, Women's Society of Christian service and the Pleasant Ridge club.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Jean, Mrs. Ronald Holtz, and Lois, Mrs. Robert Somerville, both of Wyoming, and Leah, Mrs. Leo Oppedal, Story City.
Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Herman Harris, Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Howard Criete, Monmouth, and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
