WYOMING--Funeral for Arthur W. Peck, 72, who died at University hospital, Iowa City, after a four weeks illness last Thursday night, was held at Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon, with the Rev. Robert Allen in charge.

Deceased was born north of Onslow in Clay township, and would have observed his 73rd birthday in December. He spent his entire life in this community.

After his marriage to Miss Mae Johnson in 1898 he operated a grocery store for several years. For 11 years afterwards he operated the switchboard of the Farmers telephone company. He then served as street commissioner and since 1918 has been employed in the Fishwild general store in Wyoming.

He was a member of the Presbyterian church, and served as secretary of the Modern Woodmen lodge and of the Wyoming cemetery association many years. He was a member of the Keystone lodge A.F. and A.M. and was serving his 7th year as secretary of the chapter. He complied a history of the lodge and also of each individual member, who had been initiated since the founding of the local chapter.

He is survived by his wife, one son William, Wyoming, and two grandsons, Arthur H. and Jerry Peck.
