Funeral service for Walter Bebee, 77, who was found dead at his home in Anamosa, Monday, was held Wednesday afternoon at the Beam and Miller chapel. Rev. Homer E. Dalrymple of the Congregational church officiated. Burial was at Riverside cemetery.

Bebee was born March 2, 1866, in Jefferson county, New York. He was one of a family of 10 brothers, three of whom preceded him in death. Surviving are six brothers: Frank, Waterloo, George, Prairieburg; Ted, Cataract, Wis.; Ed, Mount Vernon; Sidney, Marion; Harry, Cedar Rapids.

He had lived for many years in the Anamosa community.
