Mrs. Charlie Weaver, 75, Anamosa, died Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 24, at Tipton, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 27, at 1:30 p.m., at the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa. Rev. Ellis Webb will conduct the service. Burial will be in Forest cemetery.
She was born Nellie Catherine Moyer, Feb. 10, 1905, daughter of Daniel and Susan Hotz Moyer, near Anamosa. She was married to Charles Weaver on March 29, 1905.
Couple made their home on a farm in Jones county until Mr. Weaver's death in 1950. Since the death of her husband she had made her home with her children.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Russell Gray, Monticello; three sons, Harold Weaver, Tipton; Leland Weaver, Marion; and Kenneth Weaver, West Branch.
Others include two brothers, James Moyer, Center Point; and Frank Moyer, Central City; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Beside her husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, three brothers and two sisters.
