OLIN--Frederick Clayton Dripps, 74, Olin, died Sunday, Dec. 22, at his home following a brief illness.

Prayer service was held at the family home, Olin, Thursday, Dec. 256, at 1:15 p.m. Funeral services were held at the Olin E.U.B. church at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Lloyd Dutro conducted the service. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.

Pallbearers included Howard Cruise, Bliss Switzer, Gerald Lyon, Arno Lawson, Pete Seiveke and John Von Sprecken.

Dorothy Alexander was organist. Richard Frazier was soloist. Church flower committee was in charge of floral tributes.

He was born Nov. 8, 1889, son of Allen and Mary Dripps, near Morley. Family moved to Olin when he was about four years of age and he had lived in this vicinity since that time. He attended Olin school.

Feb. 2, 1910, he was married to Jessie Grafft at the home of the bride's parents in Newport community. Couple farmed for about six years in the Olin vicinity before moving into Olin. He was a rural mail carrier for over 40 years before retiring in 1959.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie; a sister, Mrs. Birdie Reynolds, Los Angeles, Calif., and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Donald, Nov. 8, 1938; his parents and six brothers.
