OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral service was held Saturday morning for Herman E. Tech, 71, from the Sacred Heart church. The Rev. Father Joseph Gregor had charge of the service. Those serving as pallbearers were, Frank Kolarik, Wilbur Soppe, Louis Buresh, Louis Bisinger, John Shedek and Mike Souhrada. Interment was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Herman Tech died at his home here early Thursday morning of heart disease. He had been ill for several days. He was born in Germany Oct. 7, 1873, and came to America and to Oxford Junction with his parents when he was eight years old, and had made his home here ever since. He was employed at the time of his death as assistant in the State Liquor store here. He was united in marriage to Josephine Nowachek, Sept. 24, 1902, at Oxford Junction, who survives, with one daughter, Mrs.Lois Andersen, Chicago.
