Funeral service for Mrs. J. D. Templin, 71, who died Sunday at her home in Anamosa, was held Wednesday afternoon at the Smykil home for funerals in Anamosa. Rev. A. V. McClure, Cedar Rapids, officiated. Burial was at Riverside cemetery. Pallbearers were Will Yount, Henry Dorgeloh, Dan Meredith and Clifford Crow.

She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Lyons, was born Jan. 23, 1873, at Massillon, Ill. She came to Anamosa about 25 years ago.

Surviving are: her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Edgar; and seven step-brothers and sisters.
