WYOMING--Funeral service for Clara Parsons Countryman, 81, who died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ethel Dice, Tipton, last Thursday morning was held in her home in Wyoming at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. F. G. Steinman, pastor of the Methodist church, in charge.

Deceased was born in Ohio but came to Wyoming when a small child. She attended the local schools and in 1882 married Nathan Countryman. Home was established on a farm in the vicinity of Center Junction. Later they moved to Wyoming, where her husband operated a blacksmith shop with his brother.

She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church and a charter member of the American Legion auxiliary.

Surviving are five children: Eugene, Clinton; Lee and and Mrs. Ethel Dice, Tipton; Mrs. Aleta Paul and Howard, Wyoming; 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Her husband died in 1929.
