Died of Joy.
Monticello Express:—Mrs. Johanna Rickels died of joy last Sunday morning at the sight of her son, Henry Ohe, who returned from the army the evening before. Mrs. Rickels had been in very poor health for several years, but she had prayed that her life might be spared until the return of her two sons, who were members of the Third Nebraska regiment. Henry Ohe, one of the two sons arrived, here Saturday evening, and John Ohe, the other son, was expected the next day. The meeting was a joyful one, but the excitement was too great for the good mother to survive the shock and she died Sunday morning before the arrival of her son John.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Feb. 15, 1844 and died May 14, 1899. She is buried in Wayne Zion Cemetery.
