Funeral service was held Thursday at Cedar Rapids for Mrs. Charles A. Stout, former Anamosa resident, who died there Monday at 2 a.m.

Mrs. Stout was born Pearl Stickley at Anamosa, Aug. 12, 1885, the daughter of James and Rose Stickley. She attended school there, and on May 1, 1902, was married to Charles A. Stout, Freeport, Ill.

Five children were born to the couple, two of whom preceded Mrs. Stout in death. They were Harold, who was killed in an auto accident in California three years ago, and Dorothy, who died when she was six years old.

Surviving, besides the husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Carl Schladetsky, Anamosa and Mrs. Vera Skvor, Cedar Rapids; one son, Donald Stout, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Chris Conrad and Mrs. M. R. Landis, both of Anamosa; and four brothers, Mila, Earl, Carl and Leo Stickley, all of Cedar Rapids.
