Service for Mrs. Bridget Fay Fogarty who died last Sunday at 6:15 p.m. in Mercy hospital, was held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick's church. Rev. P. J. Behan officiated. Burial was in Holy Cross cemetery.

Casketbearers were Harry Witham, Milton Chesire, William Gassen, P. B. Daly, John Hayes and John Machart.

Mrs. Fogart, daughter of Edward and Margaret Fay, was born at Langworthy Aug. 20, 1860. She was married June 6, 1899, to William Fogarty, who preceded her in death more than 20 years ago.

She is survived by one, son, R. A. Fogarty, Des Moines; one sister, Miss Agnes Fay, Anamosa; two brothers, Will Fay, Kearney, Neb., and Maurice Fay, Anamosa; three nephews, Edward Fay, Toledo, Ohio; Lieut. William Fay, Miami Beach, Fla., and Louis Fay, Anamosa, and two grandchildren.

Persons from away who attended funeral service were Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Mulconery and Simon Mulconery, St. Louis, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Fogarty, Des Moines; Lieut. C. J. Ryan, Watertown, S.D.; Sister Joseph Marie and Sister Rose Marie, Mount Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids. Sister Rose Marie is sister of Romanus Fogarty, Des Moines.
