Funeral service was held Friday for Denis A. Foley, Anamosa, who died Thursday at Mercy hospital, Anamosa. Rites were conducted at St. Patrick's church, with Rev. P. J. Behan in charge.

Burial was made in Holy Cross cemetery. Albert J. Ament sang a solo at the funeral.

Mr. Foley was born near Mankato, Minn., on Feb. 23, 1858. He came to Iowa in infancy and spent most of his life in the vicinity of Anamosa, where he was engaged in farming.

He had made his home in recent years with his brothers and sisters.
