JACKSON TWP.--Mrs. Cornelius Andresen, 71, died at her home in Jackson township Tuesday evening after a short illness.

Born in Husum, Germany on Nov. 29, 1868, she came in September 1886, to St. Paul, Minn., with her parents. The following year, they moved to Jones county, where she resided up to the time of her death.

She was married to Cornelius Andresen Feb. 26, 1889. Her husband died in 1931. Surviving children are: Anna Echultz, Lost Nation; August Andresen, Anamosa; Louis Andresen, Olin, Esther Andresen, Olin, Freda Andresen, Olin; Marie Zimmer, Anamosa, Charles Andresen, Olin, Emma Doyle, Monticello, Alma Thompson, Cedar Rapids.

She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran church of Wayne township where funeral service will be held Friday at 1:45 p.m. with Rev. F. H. Kehren officiating. Smykil's Funeral home will be in charge of arrangements.
