John Llewlyn Brady, 68, died Saturday, July 4, at the home of his nephew in Anamosa. Funeral was held Monday with Rev. J. K. Delahooke officiating. Burial was at Olin, with the Smykil Funeral home in charge.

Mr. Brady was born on June 22, 1873, in Jones county. He spent most of his life with his parents with the exception of the last four years which he spent with his nephew, Lee Brady. He was a member of the United Brethren church.

Mr. Brady was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret M. Brady, on Feb. 15, 1929; his father, Hiram Brady on April 2, 1938; and a brother, Eddie, on Dec. 8, 1877.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lee Horr, Cedar Rapids, and two brothers, William Brady, Anamosa, and H. E. Brady, Arlington.
