ONSLOW--Funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the Onslow Presbyterian church for Mrs. Joseph A. Tracy, Mount Vernon, 73, who died Friday at the Monticello hospital. She was born Mary Esther Walsworth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Walsworth, Onslow. In 1886 she was married to Joseph A. Tracy, also of Onslow. To them 5 children were born. One of them died in infancy and two daughters in later years.

Surviving are Miss Ida Tracy, Oneida, and George S., Cullowhee, North Carolina. Two grandchildren, Mrs. Arthur Clark, Springville and Donald Leighn, Mount Vernon, also one great-grandchild and a brother Charles Walsworth, Brashear, Missouri. Mr. Tracy died in 1926.

In charge of the services at Onslow were her pastor, Rev. W. G. Rowley, Mount Vernon, assisted by the Rev. D. C. Bonhom, Delhi. Pallbearers were J. L. Hanson, Jay Tomlinson, P. H. Paulsen, George Snyder, B. W. Streeper and George Lyon. Mrs. Wilson Briggs and Mrs. Howard Willison sang, accompanied by Mrs. C. R. Smith. Burial was made in the South Mineral cemetery.
