OXFORD JUNCTION--Mrs. Tillie Nowachek, 57, wife of Frank B. Nowachek, died Sunday at 9 p.m. at her home four miles north of Oxford Junction. She had been in ill health for the last two years but suffered a stroke Sunday afternoon.

Tillie Pegorek was born on a farm near Oxford Junction, March 1, 1884, the daughter of John and Mary Pegorek. She was united in marriage to Frank Nowachek, Jan. 14, 1908, and they have since farmed at the present home.

Surviving are the husband, two sons, Raymond and Edward and one daughter, Ruth, all Oxford Junction. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Pegorek, five sisters and one brother: Mrs. Ed Mizaur, Mrs. Vern Cram, Mrs. Harold Long and Walter, Oxford Junction; Mrs. George Owen, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Lee Kosticheck, Monmouth.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the home and later from the Methodist church in Oxford Junction with Rev. B. J. Swede, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Lost Nation, in charge and Antone Vanicek giving a Bohemian service.

Pallbearers were six nephews, Fred Burda, Robert Nowachek, Lumir Wasoba, Raymond Mizaur, Walter Long and Junior Owen. The floral offerings were in charge of five neices, Mrs. Lester Meyers, Mechanicsville, Mrs. Lester Mowry, Lowden, Mrs. Edward Benhart, Mrs. Hans Petersen and Mrs. Paul Huston. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.
