Funeral service was held Friday in St. Matthew's church at Cedar Rapids for Thomas W. Troy who died at his home there last Wednesday. Mr. Troy was born in Onslow Aug. 27, 1872. He had lived in Cedar Rapids for the last 30 years.

Folks from Anamosa who attended the funeral were a sister, Mrs. Alice Cartano; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foley, Mr. and Mrs. Will Foley, Mrs. Ellis Koppenhaver and daughter, Rita; Mrs. James Dougherty, Kitty Nicholsen, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cartano and Mr. and Mrs. Leo F. Loyet and daughter, Patty.
