CENTER JUNCTION--Mrs. Esther A. McDonald, 96, Center Junction, died Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Kleineck Rest home, Onslow.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Wallace Funeral home, Wyoming, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Gerald Shibley, Center Junction, officiated at the services. Interment was in North Madison cemetery, Center Junction.

Pallbearers were George Burch, Don Downing, Robert Stickley, Dean McDonald, Donald McDonald, Lyman Thompson.

Mrs. Truman Stanton was organist.

She was born March 9, 1866, daughter of William Reade and Emily Krause Reade, near Center Junction. She lived her entire life in the Center Junction vicinity.

She was married to John A. McDonald on Jan. 22, 1882.

Survivors include seven children, Scott McDonald and Lula, Mrs. E. F. Kleineck, Wyoming; Guy McDonald and Cliff McDonald, Center Junction; Mrs. E. W. Stickley and Mrs. L. A. Downing, Anamosa; and Beth Glick.

Other survivors include 19 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two children, John and Andrew.
