CASS TWP.--Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Congregational church at Anamosa for Mrs. J. J. Walters, who died Monday at Mercy hospital in Anamosa.
Rev. B. T. Schwab will be in charge of the service. Burial will be made in Riverside cemetery. Casket bearers will be George Brainard, Andrew Watt, Parke Ogden, William Buckner, William Hale and John Lubben.
Cora Amelia Walters was born in Wayne township and spent all of her life in the Cass community. She was a Gold Star Mother; her son, William, died at Camp Dodge during the World war.
Survivors are her husband J. J. Walters; six children, Joe, Mary and Nellie at home, Hattie M. Post, Mrs. Ray Purcell, and John Walters, all of Anamosa; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Clark, Monticello; one brother, Henry Worster, Detroit Lakes, Minn.; and eight grandchildren.
Loders Funeral home at Anamosa is in charge of arrangements.
