WYOMING--Earl N. Wilcox, 63, died at Davenport last Monday noon following an attack of heart disease a week earlier. Funeral service and burial was at Davenport Wednesday.
Mr. Wilcox came to Wyoming in 1902 from Bryan, Ohio. He was in the harness making business and sold buggies and carriages. He was active in community affairs being a Mason, a past worthy patron of O.E.S., member of board of education when present Wyoming school building was erected, and a member of the U. P. church.
After selling his business, he farmed for a time on the Inglis place south of Wyoming. About 20 years age, the family moved to Davenport where Mr. Wilcox operated a shoe repair shop until the time of his last illness.
Survivors are Mrs. Wilcox and one son, Millard, Milwaukee.
