October 25, 1962 - The Anamosa Eureka

Mrs. P. L. DuFloth, 76, Anamosa, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 18, at her home in Anamosa.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 22, at 1:30 p.m., at the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa. Rev. J. Ellis Webb officiated at the services. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.

Pallbearers included Alva Wink, Joe Lazio, Richard Nickels, Ed Mershon, Carl Bock and Clyde Wilson.

Mrs. W. H. Hamilton was organist.

She was born Kathleen Blanch Oliver, June 8, 1886, daughter of Charles Oliver and Maletha Metz Oliver, Gettysburg, S. Dak. She was married Jan. 3, 1907, to Phillip DuFloth, Amber. She lived her married life in Tolstoy, S. D., before moving to Anamosa in 1916.

Survivors include four daughters, Buelah, Mrs. Norman White, Cranford, N.J.; Dorothy, Mrs. James J. Maurice, Monticello; Phila, Mrs. Albert Hinrichsen, Anamosa; Joanna, Mrs. Kenneth Currie, Anamosa.

Others include three sons, Roy DuFloth, Davenport; Gordon DuFloth, Granada Hills, Calif.; and Alan DuFloth, LaJolla, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip, in 1947; her parents; five brothers and four sisters, and one granddaughter.
