Services for Mrs. John H. Specht, Monticello, who died at her home Monday night, Jan. 18, was conducted at the Hayes funeral home last Thursday afternoon by the Rev. Harry L. Adix, pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran church. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.

As Rena Harms, Mrs. Specht Aug. 7, 1892, the daughter of Siebelt and Katherine Harms.

She was married Feb. 17, 1914, and they made their home on a farm in Castle Grove township until six years ago when they came to Monticello.

Mrs. Specht is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Black and Miss Selma Specht; her mother, Mrs. Katherine Harms; two grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Will Lubben and Mrs. Norman Wilson, Monticello; Mrs. Arthur Steiner, Hopkinton, George Harms, Detroit and Edward Harms, Littleport.
