OLIN--Claus Hansen, 81, died at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 15.

Funeral services were held at the Wallace Bros. funeral home, Wyoming, Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 18.

He is survived by two children, Johnnie Hansen and Mrs. Eldon Fisher.

OLIN--Claus Hansen, 81, Olin, died Saturday, Dec. 15, at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the Wallace Brothers Funeral home.

He was born Feb. 1, 1881, son of John Peter Hansen and Sophia Hansen, Schleswig, Holstein, Germany. Family immigrated to the United States when he was 14 years old, and settled in Jones county, where he had lived since that time.

Aug. 20, 1907, he was married to Mable Pegorick, Oxford Junction. Couple lived in the Oxford Junction vicinity for awhile before moving to their present home in the Olin area, where they had made their home for the last 42 years.

Survivors include his wife; a son, John Hansen, Olin; one daughter, Marie, Mrs. Eldon Fisher, Olin; one brother, Hans Hansen, Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son; three sisters and three brothers.
