WYOMING--Funeral services for Mrs. Matilda M. Overley were held in the Wyoming Methodist church Saturday, May 25, at 1:30 p.m.

Rev. G. M. Field was clergyman. Mrs. Walter Sullivan was organist and accompanied Mrs. Howard Remley, soloist. Interment was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Pallbearers were Donald Krutzfield, Robert Krutzfield, Richard Krutzfield, Peter Sieveka, Carl Sieveka, Frank Zamastil.

Matilda Marie Overley, daughter of Frederick and Marie Petersen Sieveka, was born April 25, 1881, on a farm in Madison township, Jones county.

On Dec. 8, 1909, she was married to Roy P. Overley and the couple lived on the same farm in Jones county until they retired in 1945 and moved to Wyoming.

Mrs. Overley became ill suddenly and was taken to St. Lukes hospital on Monday, May 14, where she died Wednesday afternoon, May 23.

She is survived by one daughter, Ellen, Mrs. Russell Braley, Cedar Rapids; and one sister, Mrs. Ella Krutzfield, Olin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of the Wyoming Methodist church and of the Wyoming chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
