LINN GROVE--Mrs. Fanny Idella Dripps died at Reamer's nursing home in Marion at 11:15 p.m. Feb. 5, following a lingering illness.

She was born Jan. 20, 1881 in Jones county, the daughter of Lafe and Isabel Piper Hempy. On March 20, 1901, she was married to Joseph Dripps who survives with two sons, George L. and Lynn T., and a granddaughter, Ruth Elaine Dripps; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Holcomb, Martelle; Mrs. Lulu Ferguson, Mount Vernon; three brothers, Frank M., Mechanicsville; Erwin and Elmer Hempy, Lisbon.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. in the Springville Presbyterian church. Rev. Lloyd Morris, Cedar Rapids, assisted by Rev. C. B. Wilming, officiated. Interment was in Springville cemetery.
