Funeral service for Mrs. Agnes Frances Boots, who died at Mercy hospital, Saturday, was held Tuesday at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick's church. Rev. P. J. Behan officiated. Burial was in the Holy Cross cemetery with McNamara's Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Boots was born in Jones county, Feb. 7, 1861, and was a graduate nurse from the Iowa State hospital at Independence, where she worked for seven years.

Surviving are her two sisters, Mrs. J. F. Althen, Anamosa, and Mrs. William McDonald, Los Angles, Calif., and a foster brother, W. J. Doran, Mason City.
