MORLEY--Earl L. Domer, 46, Morley, died Tuesday, May 29, at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 31, at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church, Mechanicsville. Rev. Eugene Miller, Lisbon, and Rev. Lee Hobel, Anamosa, officiated at the services. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery. Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa, was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers included Melvin Sievers, Wyoming; Everett Otting, Stanwood; Ronald Spear, Stanwood; Kenneth Smith, Mechanicsville; Donald Hegarty, Tipton; William Barkhurst, Tipton.

Honorary pallbearers included Harold Hass, Tipton; Arden Achenbach, Don Nicoll, Willard Haak, Kenneth Findley, all of Morley; Douglas Moore, Mechanicsville.

Mrs. Robert Oxley was organist. Glenn Brokaw was soloist.

He was born May 16, 1916, son of Robert H. Domer and Harriett Tenley Domer, Morley. He was married March 9, 1940, to Betty Jane Angus, Anamosa.

He farmed in the Red Oak community near Tipton. Due to illness he moved from the farm to Tipton in 1956. He made his home in Tipton for two years and then moved to Morley where he had lived for the last four years.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; one son, Owen Earl, 12, at home; two daughters, Barbara, Mrs. Allen Achenbach, Morley; and Pamela, at home.

Others include one sister, Mrs. John Fields, Independence; one brother, Arthur, Stanwood; and one granddaughter, Penny Darlene Achenbach.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
