WYOMING--Funeral service for John Siler, 32, who died at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, Friday evening after an illness of less than 24 hours was held from the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon with Rev. K. K. Treftz in charge.

Born in Wyoming, Siler was graduated from the Wyoming high school with the class of 1927. For a time after he worked in the local garages and for a number of years owned a service garage in Oxford Junction. This spring he began farming operations with his uncle near Andrew. He was married in 1936 to Meta Bahnsen, Wyoming.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Henry Siler, and one sister, Mildred Siler, Cedar Rapids. His father died a year ago and a brother, Millard several years ago.
