AMBER--Funeral services were held for Mrs. Phillip Skelly, 70, on Wednesday, July 11, at Laramie, Wyo., at the Stryker mortuary. Henry Mohr officiated at the services. Mrs. Skelly died at Memorial hospital Saturday, July 9. She was a former resident of the local area.

She was born Emma Rickels, May 19, 1892, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harm Rickels, Castle Grove.

Survivors include two daughters, Laneta, Mrs. John Harback, Laramie, Wyo.; and Evelyn, Mrs. Charles Scaggs, Dayton, Ind.; two sons, Vernon and Melvin, Laramie, Wyo.

Two sisters, Minnie, Mrs. George Poppe, Langworthy; and Martha, Mrs. Ed Harms, Amber; three brothers, Will Rickels, Monticello; Fred Rickels and Henry Rickels, Anamosa; 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Those attending the services from the local area included Mrs. Ed Harms, Amber; Fred Rickels, Anamosa; and Lester Julfs, Monticello.
