Final rites for Ethel May Ludwig, 49, who died Sunday at the Jones county home near Scotch Grove following a cerebral hemorrhage, were held Tuesday afternoon at Beam and Miller funeral home. Rev. Homer E. Dalrymple officiated and burial was in the Martelle cemetery.

Miss Ludwig was born June 3, 1893, at Martelle, daughter of Henry and Cary Sivers. She was a member of the Christian church at Martelle.

Survivors include her father, two sisters, Mrs. Dean Ready, Fulton, Ill., and Mrs. Elmer Johnson, Clinton; and two brothers, Louis and Ambrose, both Clinton.
