OXFORD JUNCTION--Word was received Sunday, Feb. 4 by relatives in Oxford Junction of the death of Mrs. Harold Long, 65, who died at her home at Chula Vista, Calif., following a stroke which she suffered a week ago.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. in California.

Mrs. Long was born Sylvia Pegorek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pegorek, Oxford Junction. She was united in marriage to Harold Long, an Oxford Junction business man. Couple moved to California 15 years ago.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Walter, San Francisco, and a daughter, Sandra.

Others include three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Lee "Hilda" Kostichek, California; Mrs. George "Gerty" Owen, Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Vern "Millie" Cram, Oxford Junction, Walter Pegorek, San Diego, Calif. and two grandchildren.

Two sisters, Mrs. Frank Nowachek and Mrs. Ed Mizaur preceded her in death.
