OLIN--Mrs. August Laetare died unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 16, at her home.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 19, at St. John's Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Rev. R. W. Hoppenworth officiated at the services. Burial was in the Olin cemetery. Campbell Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers included Grover Benischek, Gaylord Rasmussen, Melvin Borcherding, Howard Biere, Paul Ketchum and Laverne Guhl.

She was born Mary Bell Huffman, March 4, 1900, daughter of Rudolph and Millie Willmond Huffman, near Canton. She was married Feb. 17, 1926, to August Laetare. She had spent her entire life in Jones county except for two years spent in Buchanan county.

Survivors include her husband, August; one brother, Raymond Huffman, Lowden; six nieces and nephews and several uncles and aunts.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
